Brescia University continues to recruit western Kentucky in their attempt to rebuild their baseball program. Lyon County senior catcher signed his letter to attend the Owensboro school Tuesday.
Bridges has been starter for Lyon County for three seasons and has been an All-Fifth District selection. The Lyons have won 39 games during his three seasons as a starter.
He joins Dawson Springs infielder Kevin Brooks in signing in the fall with Brescia, who is coached by former Henderson County grad Christian Hatton. The Bearcats were 13-38 last year.
Brody comes from an athletic family, with sister Lindsey playing softball at Lindsey Wilson, and sister Hope playing two sports at Lyon County.
