The Christian County girls’ soccer team won 1-0 at Paducah Tilghman (2-11) Thursday night, their second win in a row and fourth in their last five matches. The Lady Colonels now sit at 5-11 on the year.
Freshman forward Lexi Hendrix scored the Lady Colonels’ goal off an assist from junior midfielder Brianna Rubio. Junior goalkeeper Payton Hale, a strong spot for the Lady Colonels all season, earned her fourth shutout of the year.
The Lady Colonels will look to stay hot when they travel to Owensboro to face the 6-9-2 Apollo E-gals on Saturday.
