The Lyon County track & field team made the trip to Murray on Tuesday night to compete in the Jimmy Harrell Relays, taking part in three boys’ relay events and the long jump.
In the 4×100, the team of Jeremy Gonzales, Ethan Jackson, Haden Pollard and Justin Tabor finished fifth with a time of 48.28. The same group earned sixth-place in the 4×200 with a 1:39.88, followed by a second team consisting of Isaac Cox, Cole Schroeder, Zach Riechart and Michael Cox in seventh with a 1:49.37. The team of Pollard, Tabor, Gonzales and Jackson took fourth-place in the 4×400 with a time of 3:53.54.
Schroeder and Cox also competed in the long jump, finishing ninth and twelfth, respectively, with distances of 16-10.00 and 15-11.00.
