Easton McGee picked up his first win for the Bowling Green Hot Rods Monday in his second start for the Class A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
McGee pitched five innings of four-hit baseball as the Hot Rods beat Lake County 12-5 in Bowling Green. He allowed three earned runs and struck out five while walking one.
For the season, McGee has struck out 11 batters in 10.1 innings. His season ERA stands at 4.35. The Hot Rods are 6-6 on the season and in third place in the Midwest League Eastern Division.
