University Heights had a little more depth than Whitesville Trinity, and that proved to be the difference as the Lady Blazers picked up a 64-63 win Saturday and gave Derrick Hickman his first win as UHA head coach.

UHA led 18-13 after one quarter and 26-25 at halftime.  Both teams scored 16 points in the third quarter and 22 points in a wild fourth quarter as they held off the Lady Raiders for their first one-point win in six years.

Lily Hendricks led the Lady Blazers with 26 points.  Meghan Adams added 12 points, and Alecia Davis and Breanna Daniel each scored seven points.  In all, seven different Lady Blazers scored.

Cassidy Morris led Whitesville Trinity with 33 points.  She was one of only four players to score for the Lady Raiders (1-2).

UHA (1-1) will host Graves County Tuesday.
