Madisonville sophomore Jackson Hill has been named Second Team All-State by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association.
The KGCA determines their All-State teams by using totals from the best seven All-State point invitational results during the regular season plus regional and state tournament finishes.
Hill capped off his sophomore season with a 15th place finish at the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac/KHSAA State Golf Tournament earlier this month at the Bowling Green Country Club.
Among Hill’s season highlights was a first place finish at the Gator Invitational in Bowling Green, second place at the Union County Invitational, a second place finish at the Hopkins County Central Invitational, and a third place finish at Daviess County.
Hill also tied for 18th at the All-State Championship.
