Caldwell County said it didn’t play its best game against Hopkins Central, but the Lady Tigers still advanced in the 7th District tournament with a 2-1 shootout victory over the Lady Storm.
Next up for Caldwell is top-seeded Madisonville-North Hopkins in Tuesday’s district championship game.
Lady Tiger head coach Rhett Miller said following Monday’s game that his squad is still looking to play its “breakout game” this season.
