Crittenden County senior Lauren Gilchrist turned in a strong showing at the 1st Region Golf Tournament in Paducah on Monday.
Gilchrist carded a 3-over-par 74 to finish third in the regional at Paxton Park Golf Course.
Gilchrist said her goal at next week’s state tournament in Bowling Green would be to play the second day and work her way up the leaderboard.
