It has a been a tough week for the Lyon County Lyons against McCracken County teams. After falling earlier in the week to Paducah Tilghman, the Lyons hit the road to take on St. Mary Thursday evening.
While the defense was solid for the Lyons, the offense had its struggles finding the net, as the Lyons were shutout by the Vikings 3-0.
Cole Schroeder was able to come up with 15 saves on the night, as St. Mary worked to keep the pressure up against the Lyon County defense.
The Lyons drop to 2-13-2 with the road loss.
Lyon County will wrap up the regular season next week with a road trip to Mayfield and a home match against Fort Campbell.
