After dropping the first set to visiting Pleasant View Christian School on Thursday night, the Heritage Christian Academy volleyball team bounced back to take the next two in a 2-1 victory.
The Lady Warriors did some experimentation with their rotation in the opening set and the Wolverines took advantage to claim a 25-20 victory.
HCA responded with an emphatic victory in the second, cruising to a 25-9 win. Meredith Crunk served up a 5-point run midway through the set and Elizabeth Pitts helped the Lady Warriors to the final 3 points to knot the match at 1-1.
The teams battled back-and-forth in the final set, before Ashton Craft served 5-straight points to give the Lady Warriors a late lead in a 25-23 win.
HCA will be on the road Saturday to face the Somerset Christian School. The Cougars topped the Lady Warriors 2-0 earlier in the season.
