The Hopkinsville Tigers golf team picked up the win Monday afternoon in a three way match that also involved Christian County and Trigg County. The Tigers finished the day with a score of 167, four shots better than Christian County’s 171, and five shots in front of Trigg County, which finished with a 172. Trigg County would have finished in a tie for first, but had a golfer disqualified due to a scorecard issue.
On the individual side, the Tigers’ James Folz and Christian County’s Josh Johnson tied for medalist honors with scores of 39. Trigg County’s Grayson Thomas and Christian County’s Micah Smith tied for 3rd with rounds of 40.
