Even with being shutout for the first time this season Sunday afternoon, it has been a spectacular start to the 2019 soccer season for former UHA Lady Blazer Alli Cundiff. Up until Rhodes College’s first loss of the season Sunday, in which they were shutout by Washington University, Cundiff had scored in every match.
Through the first six matches of the season, Cundiff has now scored seven goals for the Lynx. She scored two goals each in wins over Ozarks and Fontbonne in the opening two matches of the season. She then added a goal each in wins over Westminster, Roosevelt, and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Cundiff is averaging just under 50 minutes per game this season.
Rhodes (5-1) is back in action Wednesday against Huntingdon College.
