Caldwell County head Rhett Miller credited his team’s defensive effort for shutting down Lyon County’s leading score, Rose Smith, in the Lady Tigers’ 4-0 win on Monday.
Caldwell, which improved to 3-1 with the victory, is right back in action Tuesday, hosting 7th District foe Madisonville-North Hopkins.
