Lyon County senior Emily Smith is known as “Combo” to the Lady Lyon coaches and players.
Smith, one of five seniors on this year’s squad, says the team has been bonding during practices and it looks to improve upon last year 12-4 record, which included a 5th District championship.
The Lady Lyons will play a pair of preseason games in the Paducah Tilghman Jamboree, facing Mayfield at 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, before taking on Tilghman at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 3.
Lyon’s soccer teams will be introduced at Meet the Lyons on Friday, Aug. 9.
