The Christian County football team was at McCracken County on Friday for a round of 7 on 7 scrimmages as a part of Mustang Midnight Madness, topping Harrison 30-20 and falling to Overton, TN and Maine South, IL.
In between games, senior linebacker Niko Bussell spoke about how the team looks at this stage of the preseason and provided one simple reason why he feels the defense will carry the Colonels this season.
