Lyon County’s Cathryn Brown and Caldwell County’s Claire Knoth were among a group of golfers competing in the KY Junior PGA stop on Tuesday, finishing second and third, respectively, at Drake Creek in Ledbetter.
Brown’s 97 placed her second behind Marshall County’s Kenley Luksic in the girls’ 13-15 division. Her round included a birdie on the par-4 third hole and a par on number eight. Knoth carded a 102 with a par on the seventh hole.
The girls will be back on the KY Junior PGA circuit on Wednesday at Rolling Hills County Club in Paducah.
