Hopkinsville High’s Evan Pyle picked up his first win on the GO Junior Series Thursday with a two-shot victory at the Central City Country Club.
Pyle edged Christian County’s Micah Smith and Owensboro’s Braden Whistle by two shots to win the 13-15 division. Hopkinsville’s Will Binkley shot a solid round of 85 to finish fourth.
In the 9-hole 13-15 division, Hopkinsville’s Joey Falco shot a 55 to finish in fourth place.
In the 11-12 division that also covered nine holes, Brady Hightower of Hopkinsville shot a 49 to finish in fourth place. In the 9-10 division, Max Falco shot a 43 over nine holes to tie for second place.
