The Hoptown Hoppers opened the 2019 Ohio Valley League season at home on Friday, knocking off the Madisonville Miners 6-2 at Hopkinsville High School’s Tiger Field.
The Hoppers will be back at it on Saturday, paying a visit to Lohaus Field to face the Fulton Railroaders.
The next home date for Hoptown is Sunday at 6 p.m. against the OVL’s newest team, the Franklin Duelers.
