
Hopkinsville will play for the 2nd Region championship for the first time since winning the title in 2015 after beating Henderson County 7-3 Tuesday night in semifinal action at Union County.
Hoptown will play Caldwell County, which won regional crowns in 2016 and 2017, in Wednesday’s 6 p.m. title tilt at Sid Stone Stadium.
The Caldwell-Hopkinsville winner will advance to sectional play Saturday against 1st Region champion McCracken County at Western Kentucky University.
