The Christian County softball team eased to a 16-1 victory over Hopkinsville Tuesday night, collecting its fifteen-straight 8th-District title and improving to 28-8 on the year. As always, Emmy Blane was instrumental in the Lady Colonels’ success, going 2-3 at the plate with 2 RBI.
Afterward, Blane talked about the team’s performance and how the Lady Colonels will have to adjust to the loss of sophomore Serinity Shemwell to make a run back to the state tournament.
