Gunnar Bingham pitched into the seventh inning, allowing one earned run on five base hits, as Lyon County claimed a 7-2 victory over Dawson Springs Thursday at Riverside Park.
Gabe Board came in to get the last two outs as the Lyons recorded their 21st win of the season.
Aidan Rush went 2-for-3 with a double and a pair of RBIs for Lyon.
Rush doubled home a run in the first inning as Lyon took a quick 2-0 lead.
Brady Darnall had an RBI single in the second as the Lyons put up two more runs to go up 4-0.
Ethan Huddleston drove in a run with a single to center to get the Panthers on the scoreboard in the bottom of the second.
Easton Maddox singled in a run in the third to get Dawson Springs within 4-2.
Lyon (21-10) went up 6-2 in the sixth. Jake Klueppel doubled and scored while Cory Cissell reached on an error and came around to score.
Rush singled home another run in the seventh to put the Lyons up 7-2.
Maddox was 2-for-4 with a double for Dawson Springs (4-20), which lost to Lyon for the third time this season.
