It has been a long, tough season for the Dawson Springs Lady Panthers softball team. Monday night, they got the chance to change that just a little bit. For the first time all season, the Lady Panthers beat someone other than Fort Campbell, as they traveled to Hopkinsville and upended UHA on the Lady Blazers home field.
The win ended a four game losing streak for Dawson Springs. It also evened the season series between the two teams, as UHA won a high scoring affair, 27-18, earlier in the season.
The loss was the 4th in a row for the Lady Blazers. UHA ends the regular season with a record of 3-13.
The Lady Blazers begin play in the 8th District tournament Monday night when they host Hopkinsville.
