Caldwell County and Union County turned their Saturday afternoon contest into a Saturday morning start and just beat the rain today at Sid Stone Stadium in Morganfield.
The homestanding Braves took advantage of several defensive lapses from the Tigers and posted a 4-1 victory at the site that will host the 2nd Region baseball tournament in a couple of weeks.
