Caldwell County senior pitcher Katie Franklin recorded a rare feat on Tuesday.
Franklin struck out 12 straight batters after giving up a leadoff walk against Dawson Springs, meaning every Lady Panther out in Caldwell’s four-inning victory came by strikeout.
Meanwhile, Franklin also delivered a home run during Caldwell’s 15-0 win. It was one of the few lopsided games for Caldwell, which has faced a stiff schedule this season.
Franklin talked about her pitching performance following Tuesday’s win.
