Hopkinsville’s Jacarius Burks joined teammate Jamarion Sharp on Friday to become the third and fourth Tiger basketball players to make their college choice official since the season ended, with Burks signing to attend Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL.
The Mallards finished 11-20 last season, falling to Lincoln Trail College in the first round of the Great Rivers Athletic Conference. Lake Land competes in First Division of the National Junior College Athletic Association.
As a senior last season, Burks finished second on the team in both points and rebounds, averaging 12.5 and 5.2 for the 16-14 Tigers.
