University Heights Academy’s Isiah Pantiere took the top spot three times on the track and finished second in the Long Jump, while Evelyn Morales posted first and third-place finishes for the Blazers on Saturday at the Toyota of Hopkinsville Invitational. The boys finished sixth, while the girls ended-up ninth.
Pantiere scored a personal record with a scorching 50.02 in the 400M, taking home first place ahead of Hopkinsville’s Xavier Bussell. He also finished on top in the 100M and 200M, turning in a times of 11.21 and 22.12, while finishing second behind Fort Campbell’s Austin Keeling in the Long Jump with a 21-09.50.
For the girls, Morales finished third in the high jump, while taking the top spot in the 300M Hurdles, a full two seconds ahead of the runner-up, with a 49.45. Lily Hendricks took fourth in the triple jump and Muki Kunnmann was fourth in the 3200M.
