Trigg County sophomore Audrey Smith shot a 291 at the KHSAA Region 1 Archery tournament on Saturday at Henderson County High School, good enough for a second-place finish and a second trip to the state tournament in as many years.
Afterward, Smith said she was happy with her showing, and hopes to improve on last season’s sixth-place finish at state.
