
Victoria Joiner had four hits and knocked in five runs to help lead Livingston Central to a 16-2 win at Mayfield Tuesday and give the program their first 2-0 start since 2017.
The Livingston Central seventh grader had a two-run triple in the second inning, RBI singles in the third and fifth, and later added a two-run single in the fifth as the Lady Cardinals sent 15 batters to the plate as part of the 10-run inning.
Madison Bolte added three hits, and Sydney Lasher had a pair of hits and four RBIs. Lauren Wring and Micaela Suarez also had a pair of singles.
Livingston had 15 hits in the game and didn’t have a strikeout.
Lasher struck out nine and allowed just five hits in picking up the win.
The Lady Cardinals travel to Paducah Tilghman Friday.
