Christian County had three wrestlers reach the podium at the Kentucky State Middle School Wrestling Tournament in Louisville Saturday.
J.T. Adams won the 152-pound class. He won two of his matches by pin, including the championship match over Union County’s Tristan Moore.
Mason Kellett took fifth place in the 121-pound class. He went 3-2 in the early rounds and defeated Walton-Verona’s Chris Harward 6-1 in the fifth place match.
Caleb Anderson finished fifth in the 152-pound class. He went 5-2 on the afternoon before his day ended in the consolation semifinal.
Trigg County’s Andrew Hendricks finished third in the 190-pound class. After dropping his second match, he won three straight and defeated Letcher County’s Christian Griffith with a pin inside of a minute to claim third place.
