Before Thursday night’s 13th-District meeting between the host Todd County Central Rebels and the Logan County Cougars, Rebels’ senior Jon Calvery was honored for passing the 1,000-point mark in his career.
Calvery actually scored his 1,000th point on a 20-point night at Allen County-Sottsville on December 18, but was recognized on his home court on Thursday.
After a junior season in which he averaged 13 points and 9 rebounds, Calvery has upped his producation to 18 and 12 this year.
