Heritage Christian Academy played from behind most of the game and was never able to dig out of the hole in a 34-20 loss to Northside Baptist of Mayfield Thursday at Warrior Gym.
HCA was held to single-digit scoring in every quarter. HCA trailed by 14 points both at halftime and after three quarters.
Kinley Deason led HCA with 11 points, while Chelsea Dortch added five points. Before the game, Dortch was honored for recently scoring her 1,000th career point.
Emilie Whitaker led Northside Baptist with 16 points.
Heritage Christian dropped to 6-8 with the loss. The Lady Warriors, ranked fourth in the latest KCAA Power Poll, will host Somerset Christian Saturday afternoon.
