The latest victory for the Todd County Rebels is on hold after Tuesday night’s 76-49 loss at the Greenwood Gators. The Rebels struggled to find a rhythm on offense while their defense fell victim to a 76-point explosion by the Gators.
In the scoring department, junior guard Kimahri Briggs was the lone Rebel to find double figures as he led the team with 12 points. While eight other Rebels saw the net swish, none were north of six points.
For the Gators, seven players scored seven or more points in the win. Junior guard Ben Carroll led all scorers with 14 points. Cade Stinnett (12 points) and Peyton Loggins (11 points) also contributed to the double-figure effort.
The loss brings the Rebels to 5-13 on the season, with their losing streak reaching four games. They’ll hit the road once again on Friday evening, making the trip to face Logan County at 7:30 P.M.
