After losing the championship of the Owensboro Invitational Tournament last week on a free throw with no time left, the Hopkinsville Tigers will look to get back on the winning track in Jefferson City, Missouri this week.
The Tigers (8-3) are playing in the Machens Great 8 Classic and will play the host Jays Thursday at 7pm. Jefferson City (5-3) has won three of four.
On Friday, Hopkinsville will play either Father Tolton, Mo. (7-1) or Kettering Fairmont, Ohio (4-2). Hoptown is the only Kentucky school in the event, which spans three games over three days.
