Lyon County held Ballard Memorial to single digits in each quarter and posted a 43-24 road win Tuesday in LaCenter.
The Lady Lyons used a 13-2 second quarter run to break open a close game to lead 21-8 at halftime.
Freshman Rose Smith was the lone scorer in double figures. She scored 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Allison Murphy added nine points and 11 rebounds, and Calista Collins scored six points.
Ballard Memorial (3-7) suffered their fifth straight loss and got seven points from Mady Calvin.
Lyon County (4-3) will play at Paducah Tilghman Thursday in a game rescheduled from last week when Tilghman’s floor was deemed unplayable due to a water leak.
