The Trigg County girls’ soccer team met Madisonville-North Hopkins on Thursday night in its last regular-season match, falling 6-1 after going behind 5-0 in the first half. Afterward, Coach Matt Harper talked about the improved play of his defense in the second half, and how playing one of the top teams in the region will help his team in the postseason.
