A student at University Heights Academy student, who has been widely recognized for his accomplishments on the court and on the field, is now being recognized for his work in the classroom. Drew McGowan, a senior at UHA has been named a Commended Student in the 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program.
McGowan, who plays baseball and basketball for the Blazers, is set to attend Mississippi State, where he will play for the Bulldog baseball team.
