Forced to play two players down most of the match, Todd County Central fell to Muhlenberg County 3-1 Saturday.

Lady Rebel Coach Katie Covington said she had a couple of players injured and a key defender picked up a yellow card in the match. A second yellow card would result in a red card and a two-game suspension, according to KHSAA rules. Covington knows the rule all too well after one of Todd County’s top players missed the postseason due to the “two yellow” rule so she opted to keep her out of the remainder of match and play nine versus 11.

Maddye Drummond scored her 17th goal of the season for the lone Lady Rebel tally. She is one goal away from 50 for her career.

Todd County Central (7-9) close out their regular season Wednesday at Fort Campbell.
