A tough soccer season continued Tuesday evening for the Lyon County Lyons. The Lyons fell to Mayfield 7-2 at Lee S. Jones Park, as part of a boys/girls doubleheader.
The loss marked the 11th in a row for the Lyons. The Lyons did get a solid night from Travis Crayne. The senior scored both Lyon County goals in the match.
The Cardinals improved to 5-7 with the win.
Lyon County is set to return to action Thursday evening in another doubleheader, as the Lyon County teams host the teams from St. Mary.
