
The Christian County Colonels ran into a buzz saw Thursday evening. That buzz saw came in the form of the Colonels to the north. Henderson County opened quickly and kept rolling, on the way to a 10-0 win over Christian County, in Henderson Thursday evening.
Coming off a stinging 1-0 loss to Madisonville on Tuesday, Henderson County took care of business quickly Thursday evening, scoring five goals in the first 25 minutes of the match. Henderson would add one more goal before the break to take a 6-0 lead at the half.
Henderson scored three more goals in the first 19 minutes of the second half to make it 9-0. Henderson County then finished the match with a goal at the 71:00 mark to bring about the mercy rule finish.
The loss, which was Christian County’s 3rd in a row, drops the Colonels to 5-8 on the season. They will return to action Tuesday evening at Murray.
