Trigg County finished tied for second place in a four-team quad golf match Tuesday at Paxton Park Golf Course in Paducah.
Trigg County and Graves County each had a score of 166, which was 14 shots behind winner St. Mary (152). Tilghman was fourth with 188 points. The top four golfers score points for their school, with the scores added together and low score being declared the winner.
Hunter Reynolds, Darrin Goodwin, and Grayson Thomas each shot a 41 for Trigg County, with Caleb Federspiel shooting a 43, and Ty Butts coming in with a 48.
St. Mary’s John Wilson shot an even-par 36 to take medalist honors. A.J. Armstrong (39) led the Tilghman golfers, while Josh Roy (40) topped the Graves County golfers.
Paxton Park is home for the First Region Boys’ Tournament to be played Sept. 25.
