Freshman Rose Smith scored five goals to help Lyon County pick up a 6-3 road win at Mayfield Tuesday. The victory was the third straight for the Lady Lyons.
Smith’s goals give her 16 for the season. Leah Schroeder had a goal and an assist, while Mia Myers contributed a pair of assists.
Lyon County (5-3) has six days to prepare for Trigg County in a district showdown Monday in Cadiz. A Lady Lyon win gives them the top seed in the Fifth District Tournament.
