The Trigg County volleyball team traveled to Clarksville on Monday night, but its stay in Tennessee ended in a 3-0 loss to Northwest. The Lady Wildcats see a two-game win streak snapped and slip to 2-4 on the year.
The first set was tightly contested with the Lady Vikings taking it 26-24. The Lady Wildcats weren’t able to mount as much of a challenge over the rest of the match, losing both the final two sets 25-15.
Lexie Wright had 12 kills, and Chloe Williamson added nine aces for the Lady Wildcats, who dropped their second straight game to a Tennessee school this year.
Trigg County is back on the road on Tuesday to face 4-4 Madisonville-North Hopkins. The Lady Maroons will be looking to extend their three-game win streak.
