Fort Campbell junior Jack Cogbill is a busy student-athlete. In addition to playing for the Falcon soccer team, Jack is also trying his hand at punting for the football team. Once the kicking season ends, Cogbill will hit the mat as a member of the Falcon wrestling team, a sport he picked up three years ago.
Over the summer, Cogbill was recognized as a finalist for the U.S. Army-Pro Football Hall of Fame Award for Excellence. Jack met Cincinnati Bengal Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz during a ceremony on post in April. Earlier this month, he traveled to Canton, Ohio and was honored during the 2018 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Week. He also attended the Hall of Fame Game between the Baltimore Ravens and Chicago Bears.
In addition to his athletic accomplishments, Cogbill is a student council representative and participates in the Spanish and STEM clubs. He also was involved in University Interscholastic League for math and theater arts. He supports his community various projects with the Boy Scouts, being a robotic volunteer, and working with military family readiness groups.
