Hopkinsville won a close tri-match with Christian County and University Heights Thursday at Western Hills Golf Course. James Folz shot a 40 to tie Christian County’s Micah Smith for medalist honors.
Evan Pyle and Will Binkley both shot a 46, and Calvin Demps added a 51 for the Tigers who scored a 183.
Christian County was second with a team score of 186, and UHA was third with a score of 192.
For the ladies, Hoptown outdistanced UHA by 21 shots.
Audrey Rains led the Lady Tiger golfers with a 47, while Anna Fort and Anna Blane each shot a 48. Ellie and Anna Colburn both shot a 52.
Christian County’s Jenna Humphries took medalist honors with a 41.
