Hopkinsville sixth grader Cate Blane is posting scores in the low 40s on the summer junior golf circuit and could help her high school team this fall. On Monday, she shot a 41 to win the Girls 11-12 Division of the GO Series stop in Madisonville. However, KHSAA rules state she can’t play on a high school team until she is in the seventh grade. That hasn’t stopped Cate from shooting low and setting goals this summer.
