Eighth grader Trenton Hayes had a career day in Heritage Christian Academy’s 14-2 win over Cornerstone Christian Tuesday in the KCAA State Baseball Quarterfinals. Hayes had two hits and drove in six runs to help the Warriors reach the semifinals for the first time in four years.
