Members of the Lyon County track and field team were among those participating in the Class A state track meet Thursday evening in Lexington. While neither the boys or the girls were in the race for the team titles, the Lyon County athletes represented themselves very well at the meet.
Lyon County results were:
Austin Duff – 15th Place – Boys 100 Meter Hurdles
Jeremy Gonzalez, Haden Pollard, Justin Tabor, Austin Duff – 20th Place – Boys 4 x 200 Meter Relay **** SET NEW SCHOOL RECORD
Austin Duff – 9th Place – Boys 300 Meter Hurdles
Jeremy Gonzalez – 14th Place – Boys 300 Meter Hurdles
Jeremy Gonzalez, Haden Pollard, Justin Tabor, Austin Duff – 20th Place – Boys 4 x 200 Meter Relay
Leah Schroeder – 21st Place – Girls Long Jump
