To say UHA’s Alli Cundiff had a pretty good day at the Class A state track meet might be a bit of an understatement. Her individual performances brought her three top three finishes, including a state championship.
Cundiff set a blistering pace in the winning the 300 meter hurdles. Cundiff finished with a time of 44.90, a full second and a half ahead of the runner-up, Melanie Welsing, from Model.
Cundiff had another solid performance in the 100 meter hurdles. Her time of 15.31 was good enough to put her in second place, just behind Welsing.
Not only did Cundiff have good efforts in the hurdles, she had another top three finish in the 100 meter dash. Her time of 12.67 was just five hundredths of a second out of first place.
