Henderson Looks Ready for Postseason With Win Over UHA

Henderson County scored in each of their four at bats Monday evening as they rolled to a big win over University Heights. The Colonels totalled 19 runs over four innings as they cruised to the 19-1 win.

Henderson scored 5 in the first, 5 in the second, 8 in the third, and one in the fourth to pick up their 19th win of the season.

UHA’s lone tally came in the 4th inning when Ben Stone grounded into a fielder’s choice to score Scribby Goode to make it a 18-1 game.

Drew McGowan was 2-3 for UHA. Ben Stone was 1-2 with an RBI.

Drew McGowan took the loss for UHA on the mound, as the Henderson batters roughed him up for 10 runs, 6 of them earned, on only five hits. McGowan struck out 2 and walked 2 in his two innings of work.
