Caldwell County will have the chance to pick up the regional girl doubles championship when Chasie Phelps and Hana Dixon take to the court Wednesday evening. The pair advanced to the regional final by defeating Hopkinsville’s Skylar Ray and Anna Maddux 6-1, 6-1.
The Caldwell County pair will take on Emily Shockley and Emily Fischels, of Madisonville. Shockley and Fischels advanced to the title match after a tough, hard fought match against Henderson County’s pairing of Preist/Wright. Shockley and Fischels won the match 7-6, 6-7, 1-0 (10-3.)
The doubles final is set for Wednesday evening at 5pm in Henderson.
